I've busied myself this winter with designing and decorating a new blog and website combination for Bellflower Design Photography.

Trust me : I wish I had been designing and decorating my lovely wood-panelled living room instead...but that's the summer project!

2011 People's Choice Photo Contest

Bellflower Design Photography is announcing the first ever People's Choice Photo Contest taking place on Facebook!

I've had a wonderful time, going back and looking over some of the great images I've captured throughout the years. And...oh...was it so hard to choose which would be featured in the competition!

The Winner of the Contest will receive a $125 Gift Certificate to Bellflower Design Photography AND receive a 11x14 Print of the Winning Photo!

Here's how to Vote for your Favorite Photo (and get others to vote too!!!) ::

• Begin by "Liking" Bellflower Design Photography on Facebook (use the link above to go straight there!)

• Then, go to the 2011 People's Choice Album (under "Photos") and "Like" your favorite Photo!

• Most Likes Wins! -- So, suggest to as many friends and family as you can and have them "Like" Bellflower Design Photography and "Like" your Photo!  (Hint :: Post the album or tag the photo to your homepage and tell everyone you know to go Vote!)

Voting begins Friday, April 15 (tomorrow) and closes on Monday, May 1.

LOOKING FORWARD TO SPRING!

We've certainly enjoyed our fair share of snow and (rare) winter sunshine in and around our house this year. My kiddos once again, showed me they must be part eskimo.

But, we're all starting to get tired of it. Chants of "Melt! Melt! Melt!" have begun. Feelings of wanting to drop kick drippy snow boots come over me.

Thoughts of spring also brings excitement for the photo season ahead! So...

In celebration of the snow that has to melt someday...any session booked before May 1st, will receive a complimentary 8x10 photo ($20 value).
